NOISY KNEELERS

Listen carefully to the times (2) during Mass when the kneelers go down and then up again.  It brings a smile to my face and stimulation to my ear drums.

5:30 P.M. (SATURDAY) COMMUNION

At the 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday evening, we schedule only 2 Host Ministers in addition to me.  One Host Minister is assigned to both the South and North side outside pew sections beginning with the South side.  The North side section may kneel or sit until the Host Minister is finished with the South side.  Stand when the Minister comes over to the North side.  There is no real sense to remain standing when there is no activity.  We have some difficulty scheduling more Ministers at the Saturday night Mass.  — Besides, having the North side receive last gives appropriate time for the Music Ministry to finish before coming to Communion.

BULLETIN ADVERTISERS

Our Bulletin folks (Liturgical Publications) will be seeking advertising sponsors for our Bulletin the week of August 11th.  This is done by telephone calling to all current and potential advertisers locally.  If you know of any potential advertiser, please call the Parish Office.  If you already advertise, then thank you!  Your sponsorship allows the Parish both to have a good Bulletin product and also to get some additional revenue ($5,201.20 last year).

Pre-registration at the Parish Office is required.

If you plan on attending, please register at the Parish Office no later than Monday, August 11, by 5:00 p.m.  Classes will not be held if pre-registrations are not received.

Group Baptisms are scheduled on the fourth Sunday.  Arrangements are made with the Parish Office.
