The Mission of the Christian Formation Committee is to foster and promote religious & spiritual education for all members of St. Michael's Parish.  The committee members meet the 3rd Wednesday at 6:30pm.  To achieve this Mission the committee shall do the following:
Provide affirmation and on-going support for all Catechists
Promote the educational and sacramental guidelines of St. Michael's Parish,       the Pueblo Diocese, and N.C.G.
Serve as a support and idea generation group for the Education Consultant.
Review and assist with on-going evaluation of programs and curriculum in                 collaboration with elementary and youth co-ordinators.
Set CFC annual goals and objectives.

Adult Religious Education  … Offers educational programs through the year.
“Share the Word” is an on going study. These groups view a 20 minute video on the Liturgy Readings of the week, followed by reflects and discusses.   Participants meet on Wednesdays at 8:30 am and Sundays at 9:15 am in the Meeting Room.

Children’s Religious Education   …   Classes on Sunday mornings.

Youth Ministry/Religious Education   … Sunday evening classes (grades 7 – 10)

Young Adult Religious Education   …  

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) . . . Provides a process through which adults who wish to know about the Catholic faith and/or seek membership in the Catholic Church are taught Catholic belief and practices.  A preparation program for children is also provide for those who are not yet baptized, but who are seven years of age or older, or children baptized into another faith who desire to become Catholic.
