Funeral Mass vs. Scripture Service upon the death of a parishioner, Father Jim clarified the fact
that it is up to the Priest and the family of the person who died if there would be a Funeral Mass
or a Scripture Service

PASTOR'S REPORT: Father Jim noted it is an extreme source of irritation to him that asbestos
was found in the house purchased b), the parish. S5,000 has been donated anonymously for the
project, and Father Jim feels fortunate to have been able to secure acquaintances to do the job for
one-fourth the original quote.

Joe Paris continues to be in good spirits with a positive attitude when Father Jim visits him.

The meeting adjourned at7:45 p.m. with a special prayer for Joe Paris.

Respectfully submitted,
